The World Simulations Group seaQuest Sim Homepage!

Our History...

This is the new home of the Fury DSV Play-By-Email sim, once part of United Liberated Simulation Group.
Back in ULSG, the seaQuest Division was formed at the demand of a former manager, and the overseer of the Group had no experience in seaQuest DSV.
After several months and two ships, the seaQuest Division was disbanded.
Now, we have a new home on FortuneCity and a whole new system! I'm Mike Pfeffer, Website Manager and Group Organizer. We're open to all and ready to be the best seaQuest sim out there!

How We'll Be Doing Things...
Most seaQuest sims run only one ship, with missions decided by the crew. Not with WSGsQ... it's going to be run more of a theater-based constant global war.

THE TIMEFRAME:
Late 2035. The seaQuest II DSV-4600 is in operation, but it's not part of our operational fleet. She is serving with the Special Forces Fleet. The Chaodai threat is non-existent. The Macronesian Alliance has extended as far north as the Kamchatka Peninsula, west to Bangladesh, and south to northern Antarctica. The Alliance has also grown militarily, and is now in posession of orbital-based laser weaponry on a par with the UEO's. The solution: let the Macronesians know that they won't be allowed to terrorize the world. Hence, the UEO has begun design of new classes of DSVs.

THE GOOD GUYS:
United Earth Oceans Organization: Everybody knows who the UEO is. This organization is something like the unified world government.
Secretary-General Ian Crane: Head of the UEO.
President Daniel Epstein: President of the United States
Captain Michael Martindale: Commander of Deep Submergence Squadron 7.
General Laeeq Tolkaze: Commanding officer of UEO 1st Assault Division.
Lieutenant-General Jason Werner: CO of the UEO Special Forces.
Major General Bradley Elliot: CO of the UEO Air Forces.
Admiral Lauren Hayes: Commander-in-Chief, UEO Navy.
Jonathan Bond: Chief Executive Officer of GlobalCorp Industries, formerly Deon International.
Valerie Jacobsen, AKA Marie Bestworth: Undercover agent for the UEO, Macronesian Interior Secretary
Mikhail Sergeivich Ishayev: President of the New Soviet Union.
Nikita Fyodorovich Voschanka: Commander-in-Chief, New Soviet Union military

More to come as more people sign up!

THE BAD GUYS:
President Alexander Bourne: Leader of the Macronesian Alliance
Lawrence Adams: Chief of Staff, Macronesian Armed Forces
Vincent San Domingo: Secretary-General of the Macronesian Alliance Navy
Erika Lane: Executive Officer, Macronesian Special Forces
-----
Once again, more to come...

THE THEATERS:
Northern Pacific: Kamchatka Peninsula, Alaska, Western Canada, U.S. Pacific Northwest States
The Northern Pacific theater is mainly subsurface combat. After the Macronesian territorial gains on Russian soil, the UEO has been vainly trying to stop the Macs from taking a foothold onto American soil. The "golden age" submarines of the UEO fleet are duking it out with their relative equals: Los Angeles, Seawolf, NSSN, and Akyulas versus early-design Macronesian subs.

Pacific/Indian Region: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii
Pac/Indian waters are too shallow for DSV operations, so surface combat is the main junction point. Fleets of surface ships from destroyers to American CVX stealth aircraft carriers, to SC-21 "Arsenal" destroyers, are clashing almost daily now. In addition to surface warfare, a major ground war is running on the border between India and Bangladesh. Macronesian forces to the east, UEO/Soviet forces to the west.

Domestic: Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean
The Domestic theater is aimed at stopping the continuous civil wars in Central America and Northern South America. The region is almost completely tumbled into anarchy, with only the UEO trying to make order. That is, secretly. Domestic Territory involves mostly special forces combat through the heavy jungles and cities. Lieutenant-General Werner is constantly on-scene in his Key West command center.

Atlantic: New England, the Azores, G-I-UK Gap, Iceland, Greenland, Nova Scotia, Iberian Peninsula, United Kingdom
The Atlantic Theater is a full-scale war zone. Surface, subsurface, airborne, you name it. A unique breed of submersible vehicles, the Fury class, is leading the fight for the UEO. The Furies are boats capable of launching and recieving any type of aircraft, launching and receiving assault vessels, scores of sub-fighters, and use anything but the kitchen sink in battle.
